Project Funkghost

The Grand Extrav, A.K.A. Funkghost, knowing my love for the D.J. remix, approached me and asked for some help. He wanted some remixes of his latest single "The Way I Rock My Clothes." He wanted some old school and underground magic applied to the track, and I immediately accepted the challenge.

The subsequent results are below X3.

Jody Watley vs. Whitney Houston

Back in high school, me and my boy Johnny "Crime" used to get twisted, head to the DJ room and get on the wheels of steel. Influenced by the late, great D.J. Kenny-K., we literally created countless acapella blends over the years; this is one of them.

Includes: Condition Red "Get Loose."

This was a Facebook-inspired blend. After re-creating my boy's Whitney Houston blend from our high school days, another old friend, Tony, all but dared me to bust a Jody Watley mix.

The rest is history! Enjoy.

Includes: Strafe "Set it Off," M.C. G.L.O.B.E. "Play that Beat" and Doug E. Fresh "? Guess Who"

Scratch That

All of my previous blog entries have been deleted.

I was going to use this blog to post old shool Hip-Hop joints, but decided that enough people are already traveling that road. Therefore, I've decided to post up some material that I know aren't circulating on the innerwebz: My acapella mixes.

GET SOME!
